We at WTFIT mourn the loss of Kabal, our favorite River Market nightclub, and are perplexed by rumors that it's going to become a sports bar by day and remain a Bill Pile-style club on Saturday nights. Just tell us this one thing: will you still be making girls boobs sweat, Future Kabal? Because if you still are, we'll still go.

I've heard the downstairs will stay the same, or will at least remain a suitable habitat for perspiring mammaries (should any venture down there and decide to throb to "deep" house music). The upstairs...I'm not so sure about the "sports bar" rumor, but the owners plan to make it over in some way. In any case, we should steel ourselves for the possibility that Phocas.net may be banished to Jilly's, the most unworkable dance club in existence, and smother amid a mass of cavorting human extremeties.
